Every day, people in our community face unexpected challenges — a job disruption, a medical setback, a family transition, or a temporary season of need. At the same time, there are neighbors who want to help but don’t always know where to start.

What Lanco Cares Is
Lanco Cares is a community-powered platform designed to connect local needs with local generosity.
We provide a simple, respectful way for individuals, families, and organizations in Lancaster County to share a need — and for neighbors, businesses, and local organizations to step in when they’re able.
- We don’t replace existing charities.
- We don’t supervise or manage assistance.
- We simply help neighbors find one another.
What Lanco Cares Is Not
Clarity builds trust.
Lanco Cares does not:
- Raise funds on behalf of individuals
- Distribute financial assistance
- Act as a case-management or social service agency
- Decide who “deserves” help
Instead, we act as a connector — creating visibility and opportunity while preserving dignity, choice, and personal responsibility on both sides.

How Lanco Cares Is Supported
Lanco Cares is free to use and always will be.
To cover basic operating, technology, and outreach expenses, the platform is supported by Lanco Brands and select community partners who believe in the value of neighbors helping neighbors.
Lanco Cares does not collect money on behalf of individuals and does not take a percentage of any help provided.
This approach allows the platform to remain accessible, ethical, and community-focused.
